iWantEmpire Named 2018 XBIZ Progressive Web Company of the Year

LOS ANGELES — iWantEmpire was named the Progressive Web Company of the Year at the recent 2018 XBIZ Awards.

“Thank you to XBIZ for recognizing our progressive artist-first platform,” said Jay Phillips, founder and president of iWantEmpire. “In the past year, iWantEmpire has experienced rapid expansion, becoming a one-of-a-kind lifestyle brand for artists around the world and their fans. Since 2014, we’ve worked tirelessly with one goal — to create a brand that is sex-positive, supportive and nurturing of its artists and one that encompasses a variety of interests around the world and this award proves we’re well on our way to achieving that and more.

"To everyone at XBIZ who recognized this work, thank you.”

Presented at the JW Marriott Los Angeles, the award recognizes online firms for their success and growth in progressive initiatives.

In December, iWantEmpire debuted iWantFanClub, a subscription-based social media network which gives artists and celebrities a platform to monetize content and fan interactions, including uploads, contests, phone chats, pay-to-view messages, custom clips and more.
